A statement from MU's homepage reads: "Rasmus Hojlund will miss Man United's Premier League match against Fulham on Saturday due to a muscle injury. He is expected to be out of action from two to three weeks".
The 21-year-old Danish striker will be ruled out of Saturday's Premier League match against Fulham and next Wednesday's FA Cup fifth round match against Nottingham, while the clash with Man City on March 3 will also come too soon for Hojlund.

The former Atalanta player will also face a physical race for matches against Everton on March 9 and Sheffield United on March 16 in the Premier League.
Hojlund's injury occurred in the context of this player's personal form being very impressive, having scored 7 goals in his last 6 appearances in the Premier League. Hojlund joins Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Lisandro Martinez, Anthony Martial, Tyrell Malacia and Aaron Wan-Bissaka on Man United's injury list.
Marcus Rashford is likely to start up top in attack in Hojlund's absence, although the England international has struggled to find goals this season and has only scored five times.
Hojlund joined Man United from Serie A team Atalanta in July 2023 with a contract worth 75 million euros and increased to 85 million euros with additional terms. The Danish striker has made 30 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils.
