He becomes the second young player (21 years and 7 days old) to score in five consecutive Premier League matches. The player ahead of Hojlund is the legendary Nicolas Anelka, who achieved this feat at the age of 19 for Arsenal in 1998.
Now, Rasmus Hojlund will create his own history if he scores in the match between Man Utd and Luton Town in the 25th round of the Premier League on February 18.
Newcastle midfielder Joe Willock currently holds the record as the youngest player, at the age of 21 and 272 days, to score in six consecutive Premier League matches.
Man Utd legend Roy Keane has praised Rasmus Hojlund's remarkable progress in recent weeks: "What every striker needs is a few goals to get confidence, and he's certainly got that in the last five games.
Hojlund looks like a different player. He looks powerful, explosive, he's taking his chances, he's hungry for goals, and he's a big, strong boy.
His confidence has improved because when you put the ball in the net, confidence grows. If Man Utd wants to get into the top 4 or 5, he needs to keep scoring."
